Wade began working with children as a volunteer with the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation and Camp Opportunity. When he graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in anthropology he transitioned into a career working as a Behavioral Therapist. He was trained in ABA and Floortime and carries elements of each into his present work. He quickly learned that working one on one was more rewarding and values personalized learning. He has most recently worked as a tutor at Delta Charter School and teaching Supplemental Instruction for chemistry at Cabrillo College. Wade chooses to work with children to pay forward the support he received throughout his childhood. He loves nothing more than a good question. He came to Steps to continue doing what he loves and to work alongside others with overlapping passions. He looks forward to feeding off the energy of the his coworkers and students.
